Step-by-step guide

Your message. One tap.

First create your Golden Message from the personal link sent after purchase. Then write the generated address to the NFC carrier and run a final test.

Before you begin

Prepare three things

  • An internet-connected smartphone with NFC enabled.
  • The personal, secure link sent by Recens after purchase.
  • Your content: text, audio, a photo or a short video.

Your personal link is tied to the order. Do not share it publicly or type the address by hand.

Part 1

Create your Golden Message

Keep the portal page open until you have copied the final link.

  1. 01
    Open your personal link

    Click the link in the email from Recens directly. Do not enter a number or address manually.

  2. 02
    Add your content

    Write your message and, if you wish, add prepared audio, a photo or a short video.

  3. 03
    Save the message

    Select “Save message” and wait for the portal to finish processing your content.

  4. 04
    Wait for the final address

    The portal will generate a separate link to your completed Golden Message.

  5. 05
    Copy the complete link

    Copy the entire address, including “https://”. Keep the page open for now.

Part 2

Write the link to the NFC carrier

Use the free NFC Tools app on iPhone or Android.

    Open NFC Tools

    Install the app from the App Store or Google Play and open it on an NFC-enabled phone.

    Choose Write

    Go to “Write” → “Add a record”.

  3. 03
    Choose the correct record type

    Select “Custom URL / URI”. Do not choose the standard “URL / URI” item.

  4. 04
    Paste the final link

    Paste the complete address generated by the portal and confirm it with the check mark.

  5. 05
    Write to the carrier

    Tap “Write”, then hold the top of your phone against the NFC carrier until the success message appears.

Final check

Always test before gifting

Close NFC Tools, unlock your phone and tap the carrier again. Make sure the correct message opens and every file works.

If the phone does not read the carrier

  • Remove the phone case and try again.
  • Move the top of the phone across a different part of the carrier.
  • Check that the address is complete and starts with “https://”.
  • Repeat Write in NFC Tools and test again.
